- Basic Usage Data: Language preferences and session information for functionality
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and improve the Tatau platform
- To enable the AI mentorship features
- To calculate your Ripple Score
- To send essential service communications
What We NEVER Do
- Sell your data to advertisers or third parties
- Use your data for targeted advertising
- Never share your information
- Use manipulative algorithms to keep you scrolling
Your Rights (GDPR & Global)
Regardless of where you live, you have these rights:
- Right to Access: Request a copy of all data we hold about you
- Right to Rectification: Correct any inaccurate personal data
- Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your data ('right to be forgotten')
- Right to Portability: Receive your data in a portable format
- Right to Object: Object to processing of your personal data
Data Security
We use industry-standard encryption and security measures to protect your data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text.
Data Retention
We retain your data only as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, your data is permanently removed within 30 days, except where legal requirements mandate longer retention.
Age Requirement
Tatau is for adults aged 18 and over only. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If we discover such data, we will delete it immediately and terminate the account.
